Sharon Hajovsky

Sharon Hajovsky is a native of Columbus, Texas where she attended Columbus Independent Schools. She graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree minoring in English. Extended studies were taken at St. Thomas University in Houston, Texas.  

​

Mrs. Hajovsky began her teaching career in the Spring Branch Independent School district and moved to Katy Independent School District in 1978. While in Katy, she taught 3rd grade and 5th grades, and specialized in teaching the Gifted and Talented program. It was there where she was recognized as Teacher of the Year for Region IV.  With a move back to Columbus, she then began her teaching adventure at St. Anthony Catholic School. 

​

She has been married to Joe Hajovsky for 53 years and has one daughter who is an Assistant Principal in Katy ISD. She also has two grandchildren, a grandson entering his freshman year of high school and a granddaughter who attends St. Anthony Catholic School. 

​

In her spare time, Mrs. Hajovsky enjoys reading, taking walks around Columbus, shopping, and traveling with her family.
