Sandy Darr currently teaches Kindergarten at St. Anthony Catholic School but throughout her many years of teaching she has also taught PK Religion, 3rd grade Science, Art, and Social Studies; and 5th grade Social Studies. Her heart is in Kindergarten where she strives to foster a loving, caring, and fun environment in her classroom. She also encourages her students to grow spiritually and academically.

 

Mrs. Darr grew up in Houston, TX and attended Blinn College and then Texas A&M Kingsville. After getting married, she lived in Dallas TX for six years before moving to Columbus with her husband and three children. Her oldest son, Brett, now lives in Dallas with his wife, Claire, and their two daughters: Lydia and Ava. Her middle son, Ryan, and his wife, Peggy, live in Santa Fe, NM with their two dogs where they are both wildlife biologists. Her youngest daughter, Ashley, is now in Columbus with her family after living in Katy for 14 years. Ashley's husband, Todd, and her have two sons: Tyler and Cole.

Mrs. Darr enjoys living in the country with her husband, John, and their pets: dog Daisy, cat Astro, and bird Oliver. She also loves spending time with her family and friends.
